The purchase of these prayer beads supports local Palestinian farmers who harvest and trim olive trees and take care of the land; as well as artisans and workshops that produce olive wood handicraft. We also support the planting of new olive trees in Palestine; thus, we aspire to create a complete circle of sustainable solidarity starting from the grove, through the grain to production, purchase and use.

We are committed to responsible, sustainable, fair production and trade. 

The olive tree is deeply rooted in Palestinian culture and symbolises Palestinian resilience and belonging to the land. Olive trees are not cut for their wood, instead branches from their annual trimming are used to produce the handicrafts. The olive wood is known for its distinctive quality, durability and is naturally antimicrobial.
